After netting a Grammy nomination for his contributions on D.R.A.M.’s “Broccoli”, Lil Yachty is hoping to replicate his magical run from 2016. Fresh off his Summer Songs 2 mixtape, Yachty returns with his new video “Shoot Out the Roof.”
Sporting all-white paint-balling fatigue, Yachty and The Sailing Team put their shooting skills to the test. Beside letting off rounds and dancing in a room full of balloons, the “Minnesota” rapper spills some memorbale lines.
“Ni–a you ain’t Uzi, you ain’t Carti damn sure not me / Never on the scene, what you mean, nig-a yadda mean / Ballin like Yao Ming, paint her face, ni–a just like Sting / Came up popping beans then I dropped it cause I’m not a fiend / All you ni–as wanna be me, rub the pussy for a genie /Your bank account looking teeny, Tina Turner, big burner,” raps Yachty.
Recently, the 19-year-old was placed under Forbes’ ’30 Under 30′ for his lofty accomplishments in 2016. He joined the likes of Alessia Cara, Bryson Tiller, G-Eazy, and more. Check out his new video below.
