Peter Vaughan Is Dead

British actor, Peter Vaughan who acted as Aemon Targaryen in the fantasy drama series Game of Thrones is dead. He died this morning at the age of 93.

The actor, who had a career in theatre, television and film spanning more than 75 years, died this morning, surrounded by his family, Dailymail confirmed.

During his career, Vaughan worked alongside Sir Anthony Hopkins, Frank Sinatra and Ronnie Barker.

He will be best remembered for his portrayal of ‘genial’ Harry Grout in the classic sitcom Porridge, despite only appearing in three episodes.

Born in Shropshire, Vaughan was the son of a bank clerk and nurse. He went to school in Uttoxeter before joining the theatre group in Wolverhampton.

He served in the army during the Second World War, where he served in Belgium, Normandy and the Far East.

At the time of his death, he lived with his second wife Lillias Walker in Mannings Heath, West Sussex.

Thanks to her newly-launched mobile app, a new Nicki Minaj record surfaces the web called “Aint Gone Do It.”
In case you missed the news last week, Nicki Minaj has decided to expand her business ventures into the gaming world and drop off a new mobile app called “The Empire”, which was officially launched on Tuesday night without Nicki’s knowledge (see trailer for it here). Well it turns out for those of you who purchased the game today will receive a new song as an added bonus called “Ain’t Gone Do It.”

While Nicki can be heard handling the opening verse & hook, some random girls appear to cover the rest of the verses, which could be some fans Nicki picked out by choice. Either way, it’s some new rapid-fire bars from Nicki and that in itself is a W.

Kim Kardashian Reportedly Wants To Divorce Kanye West & Keep Both Children

BREAKING: Kim Kardashian is reportedly building a divorce case against Kanye West and is seeking full custody of their children.

Wow. In the wake of the violent robbery Kim suffered in Paris and Kanye’s recent mental breakdown, it was obvious that Kimye was in dire straits. But a divorce?

Kim is apparently the one pushing for the divorce, according to a source described as a “friend” of the Kardashian superstar. The source tells Us Weekly that Kim is also building a case to gain full custody of both of her children with Kanye, their three-year-old daughter North as well as their son Saint, who celebrated his 1st birthday on Monday (Dec. 5).

“It will take some time before she can do anything,” says the source, “but she doesn’t want to stay married.” The report goes on to say that while Kim is being supportive of Kanye amid his mental suffering, she apparently does not want him to be around their children. Her friend states that though Kim still cares about Kanye, she has “felt trapped for a while.”

Earlier this week, it was reported that Kim and Kanye had not been living together after Kanye’s release from the hospital. Our thoughts go out to everyone in the Kardashian-West clan. Stay with us as more information on the circumstances of their marriage becomes available.

Chance The Rapper Hosts Grammy Nomination Party In Chicago

Chance celebrates his seven Grammy nominations.

A couple months ago, Chance the Rapper shared his plans in the event that he were to receive a Grammy nomination in an interview with Billboard.

“If I get nominated, I’m going to throw a huge party in Chicago and I’ll fly in all my friends,” he said. “We’ll celebrate the Grammys’ recognition of grass-roots independent artists and this new way of releasing music by nominating me. We’ll fucking go crazy for, like, two days straight.”

Tuesday, Chance received not one but seven Grammy nominations, including nods for Best New Artist, Best Rap Album, and Best Rap Song. He celebrated that night by throwing a party in his native Chicago.

“Tonight we won, because I got nominated for a Grammy,” he said in a speech to partygoers. “And I don’t plan on waiting until February to figure out if I won or lost. I decided tonight that because I’m surrounded by my best friends, by my family, that tonight was the winning night and I wanted to celebrate with you guys here in Chicago.”

“If I do win any Grammy’s on that night,” he continued, “I promise that when I get on the stage, I’m gonna say ‘Glory be to God, I claim the victory in the name of the Lord.’”

Ab-Soul is about to drop his new album DWTW this Friday, but he’s making sure that fans have something to chew on in the days leading up to it. Today, he’s shared the video for a new song called “D.R.U.G.S.” which is about exactly what it sounds like. The black and white video is as intoxicating as the subject matter, while Ab-Soul manipulates his vocals and muses on the dangers of substance abuse as well as his vices. His declaration of “I love drugs,” seems like it should be taken with a grain of salt — not a glamorization but a reality.
